Gingerbread Treat Bags

Handmade by The Hollis Family

I made these little treat bags to hold our holiday baking and then the boys and I passed them out to all the neighbors. We also used these as gifts for Jackson’s pre-school faculty and everyone loved them. I found all the necessary ingredients at Paper Source and used their catalog for inspiration. None of it was too time consuming, and the toddlers helped so you know the skill level is low! ;)

I'm Stuffed!

We stuffed cellophane bags with two chocolate chip cookies, two brownies and two peppermints for color.

Fit to Be Tied

I tied each bag with a thin ribbon and tied the ribbon in a bow to hold the bag closed.

Crafty

Paper Source had these adorable “handmade by” stamps and I used red ink to stamp them on little tags. Then I wrote “The Hollis Family” in white ink. I used the same white ink to make “icing” on the gingerbread man.

Gingerbread Men

I hole punched the gingerbread man’s arms and the edges of my tags and strung the ribbon through both to attach it to the cellophane bag.
